OUR MISSION
We believe everyone has the right to breathe safe air. 91% of the world’s population live in places where harmful air quality exceeds guideline safety limits with poor air quality contributing to 7 million deaths every year (Source: World Health Organisation (WHO) 2019). 10,000 of those deaths occur in London alone (Source: Public Health England 2019).
A EUROPEAN MANUFACTURER WITH HIGH CAPACITY PRODUCTION
RESPILON's primary high-capacity production facility is based in central Europe, specifically the beautiful city of BRNO in the Czech Republic - where RESPILON® was founded in 2013. Two secondary production facilities are based in South Korea and China which primarily serve the Asian market. All three locations will send stock across the World where demand requires it. Globally, RESPILON’s production capacity exceeds 10million units per week. The benefit of having core production in Europe is that RESPILON® are in a better position to maintain supply in a lockdown situation.
Where applicable, all RESPILON® products are fully CE Marked and carry appropriate certification.
TECHNOLOGY
The patented RESPILON® nanofiber filter featured in our products is a new generation of nanofibre membrane that provides normal breathability with outstanding filtration.
The nanofibre membranes contain an extremely dense network of fibres that are 1,000 times smaller in diameter than a human hair. These fibres are extremely strong and can stop even the smallest solid and liquid particles.
European, American and Chinese independent testing institutes have verified that the nanofibre filter can capture the most dangerous airborne particles and pathogens from the air with an efficiency of 99.9%.
ECO-FRIENDLY MANUFACTURING
We believe in a circular economy where resources are reused and not wasted. The majority of our products and packaging are manufactured within the EU using eco-friendly production and materials. A portion of worldwide profits are donated to climate change causes and disability charities, and the majority of our technology is 100% recyclable.
